Larva collected on host plant, Purshia mexicana by Todd Stout on May 27, 2006 - Blue Canyon 2.0 miles WNW of  Johnson Pass in  the Stansbury Mountains, Tooele County, Utah

After  summer conditions from June 3rd to July 15th the pupa hibernated under winter conditions for six months.  On January 23, 2007, the pupa was  brought into spring conditions and the adult eclosed eight day later on January 31, 2007.
