Terry Stoddard collected a female at Fields Creek Road, NF boundary/Fields CG, Grant Oregon on June 14, 2007, ova laid on Aster engelmanni, reared to 5th instar by Jack Wolfe on same.  Some call this butterfly C. palla palla, black form.
