Ova
Approximately 170 ova laid June 25, 2007, eclosed July 3, 2007, most of the larvae diapaused July 21, 2007. 

Larva
Of 156 larvae that eclosed, four matured to 5th instar and formed pupa.  The rest of the larvae diapaused at third and fourth instar.

Feeding pattern of larvae
1.  In first stages of development, larvae  eat only the top layer  of the leaf
2.  Fifth instars eat all the  leaf except the center vein.
