Todd Stout was able to mate a pair of Limenitis Weidemeyerii and have the female oviposit.   Todd gave me some ova to rear on 11 June 2016.

On June 15, 2016 seven caterpillars emerged and began feeding on Coyote Willow - Salix exigua
June 19, two first instars molted to 2nd instar - 6 mm long
June 23, molted to 3rd instar - 7 mm long
June 27, molted to 4th instar - 15 mm long
June 30, molted to 5th instar - 22 mm long
July  2nd 30 mm long
July 5th 35 mm. long
