Davis Two females found by Todd Stout on private property with owner's permission on August 26, 2006. Ova 1. August 29, 2006 Two females oviposited heavily on four Aster leaves and just a scattering on three other leaves. Est. 280 ova Larva The small Phyciodes pulchella larvae feed and rest together in nests of silken threads. One day old larva - September 4, 2006 Dorsal view on September 13, 2006 - Probably third instar Lateral view on September 13, 2006 - Probably third instar - Still very, very tiny.
