Details Pupa Larva purged excess fluids at noon on June 23, 2006 and was moved to a paper tube device suitable for pupation then placed in a dark cupboard where temperature was about 75 to 80 degrees. On June 26th, the pupa was removed from the paper tube and placed in an emergence container. 1. Dorsal view June 28, 2006 2. Since we are in the southern part of it's range, it will not require being cooled for a few months to simulate a winter nor a simulated spring before the pupa develops and emerges as an adult this year.
