Characteristics
1 to 1 1/2 inch wingspan - Overall whitish ground, Dorsal front wing has black bar at the end of the cell then an orange patch followed by black edging.  Ventral forewing is marbled black to greenish with a white streak from base toward outer margin.  Veins are lined orange to yellow.

Location and Other Information
Raised by Todd Stout who extracted the ova March 4, 2005 4.5 miles West of Christmas Tree Pass, 2.6 miles East of US Highway 95, Clark County, Nevada.  The  butterfly emerged on January 31, 2006
