Characteristics

Dorsal side of abdomen more black than blue - Segment eight & nine are blue
Black u-shaped mark on blue background of dorsal side of second segment
Wide black stripe in middle of the dorsal side of thorax, then turquoise stripe, then black stripe, then turquoise with just a trace of another black stripe.
Eyespots are tear-shaped
Females can be green, tan or turquoise with large eyespots
