Located May 20, 2006 - Butterfield Canyon, Salt Lake County, Utah Photos - ©Nicky Davis 1.  Lateral 2.  Thorax 3.  Partial dorsal 4.  Ventral 5.  Head, thorax and first 3 segments 6.  Appendages Characteristics .90 to1.10 inches long  black head and thorax brownish eyes abdomen is red , last three segments red with black on the top and sides.  Typical flight is from April to September.
