Characteristics
  • 1 to 1.38 inches long. 
  • Brownish/orange colored middle segments on the ventral side and  also on the dorsal but with dark markings that look like rockets.
  • Segment 1 is  blue, segment 2 is blue  with black on the dorsal side.
  • Segments 8 and 9 are completely blue. 
  • Segment 10 is blue on dorsal and black on ventral side. 
  • The blue/green side stripe on the thorax is wider near the front. 
  • The blue/green eyespots on a field of black  are large, tear-shaped and connected with a line
  • The lower appendages  curve upward.
