Characteristics
  • 2 1/3 to 3 inches long with a 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inch wingspan
  • Brown line across face (see second face photo)
  • Blue eyes and face
  • Two blue stripes on sides of thorax and on top
  • Abdomen is blue to greenish, black and brownish
  • 3 cells in hindwing anal triangle
  • 4 cells in forewing triangle
  • segment ten has two widely separated pale blue spots.
