Characteristics
  • Thin, undivided side stripe with jag near the front
  • Eyespots are large, blue
  • Lower appendage longer than upper
  • More black on abdomen than cyathigerum or boreale
  • Third segment more blue than black
  • Lands on vegetation
  • Wings held at the sides of the abdomen
