Characteristics
  • 1 to 1.5 inches long
  •  male there is more blue than black
  •  female more tan than black
  •  small eyespots are comma shaped
  • dark stripe down the middle of the thorax and one on each side
  • Top appendages longer than lower ones
  • This is a teneral or newly hatched male that  hasn't  "colored up" yet.
