Yellow flowers with 10 to 16 rays and numerous yellow disc flowers. Plant is 6 to 20 inches tall. Leaves are alternate, oblanceolate, 1/2 inch long with a soft, downy covering of hairs.  Blooms from June to October.

I think the park service planted this flower in this  "nature" park.
