take I-15 to exit 354 and turn w./sw at the end of
the exit ramp.  Several hundred yd. later, turn right (W.)
onto 4000N in Farr West--almost directly across from Smith
& Edwards. You'll also see the sign for Willard Bay's S.
Marina at this intersection.  Drive W. until you see the sign
pointing S. to the rail trail.  You'll find parking at the trail-head.
Continue w. on 4000N and turn right (N.) when the road
ends at a "T" intersection.  Notice the sign for Willard Bay
WMA on the left.  This road is muddy, potholed, rocky, and
not suitable for 2WD passenger cars at this time.  Drive n. .7
miles until the Russian Olive trees close in tightly on either

side of the road. The Harris's Sparrow was on the w. side.

drive  N on I-15 and take exit 332.  At the end of the
exit ramp, proceed straight across the intersection onto
Fort Lane.  Drive 1.1 miles and turn left (west) onto Wasatch

Drive.  You're entering the Layton Municipal Complex.

You can either turn right on a small loop off Wasatch called

Constitution, or continue around Wasatch Drive.

You'll see the mature trees behind all the buildings—

where the path and Kay’s Creek are.  Park either

along the road or in any of the lots that serve the park areas.

The waterfowl use the south area where the creek opens up

into a big pool.  The warbler and other birds were at the

end of the path near the sports bubble.
