LOCATION:  Jack Harry located female Chlosyne damoetas damoetas (Rockslide Checkerspot) nine miles west of Fairplay near Horseshoe Basin, Park County, Colorado 3 July 2012.

LIFE HISTORY:
Ovum:   Notes not available
Larva:  First instar photo on 16 July 2012 - 2 mm
              Second instar photo on 20 July 2012 - 4 mm
              Third instar photo on 24 July 2012 - 11 mm
              Hibernated  for the winter and were taken back out the first week of June
              The larvae began feeding and some went through to fifth instar while others
               again diapaused. In 2014 the larvae were brought out of hibernation and placed on engelmannii again.

2014:  Brought out of hibernation and set on engelmannii to feed.
