Photo Details - ŠNicky Davis

On July 3 2016 we observed a female Monarch flying about the garden, then ovipositing on the Milkweed growing there.  Could this be from the offspring of the Monarach we reared in 2006?

On August 26, 2006,  ova and larvae located  on private property in Salt Lake County with permission granted from property owner.  All these photos are not of the same individual.  The larvae that developed from the two ovum collected  are much larger than the two larvae collected  as young instars.

Male is bright orange with wide black borders and black veins; hindwing has a patch of scent scales. Upperside of female is orange-brown with wide black borders and blurred black veins. Both sexes have white spots on borders and apex.
