Description:  The body is about a foot long not including the bushy tail which is also about a foot long. http://www.desertusa.com/animals/rock_squirrel.html   The coat is mostly a speckled grayish-brown.  They have a reddish color under the chin and along the neck.  They have a whitish line above  their eyes and a whitish line under their eyes with a darker area below that.
