Description
L 4"  WS 5.5". Distinct light supercilium - rufous throat and breast - brownish overall-  barred flanks and striped short tail

Directions
Drive up Provo Canyon to the Canyon View picnic area (don't confuse it with the next picnic area called Canyon Glen).  Canyon View is on the left (north side) of the highway.  Go to the west end of the parking lot.  An asphalt trail starts there, continue until you come to a footbridge which you cross and the main Provo River Trail is met (only a couple of yards).  Turn left for about 125 or  so yards.  The wren is a very shy, secretive, hard to locate, hard to see bird, and does not stay around long for prolonged looks.
