Todd Stout located larvae July 4, 2007, along Red Cloud Loop Road,  Uintah Mountains,
2.1 Miles NNW of Charleys Park, Uintah County, Utah
Elevation 9000 feet.

Third and fourth instar larvae hibernate.   After hibernating the larvae begin to feed again, pupate and eclose.  This butterfly eclosed June 2, 2008.
