Male Pima #2 information

This male A. cethura pima butterfly pupa was in diapause (hibernation) for 3 years awaiting  perfect conditions for emergence to insure survival of it's species in it's harsh desert environment.

Extraction location and date
Reared  by Todd Stout who extracted the ova Mar 15, 2003 at an elevation of 3300 feet, 1.8 road miles North of St. George, on East side of Utah Highway 18, Washington County, Utah.
