Description
Size: 1 foot tall   Flower: red tubular, 1 inch long,  4 sepals, 4 two-lobed petals inserted at its top and a long style with a four-lobed stigma that grows past the petal
 Fruit: long seed pod of  epilobium genus. Blooms: July to late October,  Other: A favorite of hummingbirds
