Characteristics
Size:  15 to 40 feet tall with irregular shape  Leaves: lobed, size variable  Use: Birds and other wildlife use for a food source and for cover.
 The Acorn Woodpecker uses Desert Oak habitat for breeding and selects Desert Oak year-round as primary and secondary breeding habitat and as a wintering habitat.

Colorado Hairstreak - Hypaurotis crysalus
